IPOD Music Choice: Lords of Acid
Today move talk about Janet. Really we all know the story here with that. I was thinking about the over all cost of education. What a crime school costs are on the rise, and pay for those teachers is at an all time low.
Working today on a project that has been fighting against most every one in the company. Doing whats right is not as easy as most people would think. I am to dam pissed to be writing anything today. I'll leave with this thought.

Todays' IPOD tunes, Ms Janet Jackson.
After yesterdays events what could be said about the hald time show that has already not be said. Interesting side bar notes. MTV knew nothing of the sort. Yea right. They knew, and they blew. Ms Janet. Whicih I do love. mind you her music speaks to many about issues that I can fully understand, and at times relate with. She knews that her ablum ( Older folk word) CD will be out soon. In fact it will be out in March. World tour to follow shortly after. We all know that PR is best when somone is talking about you. So hey 1 billion people now will be talking about her.
OK, lets talk about the Super Bowl. What a game sure if you like low scoring events. The PATS really did come to play. I thought the over all game was worth watching to the end.
Commericals ? Lame the only one I liked was the horse on a date. Thats it. What happened to Apple ? BTW I am windows user only.
No more crap today.

Todays IPOD - John Digweed. The best of mixed, house, and underground. The joint will last about 2 hrs, and take us from a low point of the AM to the high of mid-day. I am going to need a tune for the afternoon. But why worry about that right now.
Not a day goes by that I do not think about 9-11 and here comes screaming over my radio for the drive in, this little story and my whole thoughts take me back to the start of that day. Ah will we ever forget. I hope not !

USATODAY.com - Part of Patriot Act ruled unconstitutional: "Part of Patriot Act ruled unconstitutional"
AS much as I am American and feel the lose of our fellow Amercians that faithfull day September 9th I can believe that these types of actionable events still acurr without our outraged voices. What happened to Amendments, 1 and 5 did we forget them we agreed to support the Patriot Act. NO, I am not some cardholding ACLIU member. Just a person that believes that this is truly our country and we have rights only when we speak up. Mad is not even the feeling I have. President Bush, give back our rights and enjoy the victory you will have . You have become a leader. Now is your chance to lead.
Its Monday, I am running with my head in my hand. Its crazy. Work is runnig me into the ground today. IPOD is running U2 and I really have not had much of a chance to think about much else.
Poems, is something that I am interested in today. Well everyday. So here's todays Poem.
Invitation to America
a version of Baudelaire's 'Invitation to the Voyage'
It's a day for daydreaming: rain
choking the gutters, wind whistling at the window.
Put down that coffee for a minute
and think about it — a ménage à deux
at the other end of the planet, floating on a culture
with a blank mind, or rather, surfing
on the waves of fashion, asleep on the wing,
splashed by each passing trend.
The way the sun lifts up from the backdrop
so enthusiastically and lights up the windblown
clouds from behind, it's a knockout,
a patchwork canopy of blue and yellow.
The storekeepers, the cops, the culture vultures
remind me of you — deliquescent con-artist,
blinking and lying through the convenient tears.
Like a paint job on a new convertible
the talk is brilliant and skin-deep.
No history — who needs it? The furniture
seems to know what you're planning, day by day,
the air conditioning blesses you with perfume,
the mirrors are discreet in what they remember
and what they choose to forget.
The vernacular of the shopping channel
and the sale catalog is on everybody's lips —
nothing but beauty and elegance, and the houseboats
and the matching housecoats are just right!
Along the canals, the clink of ice-blocks knocking
in a jug, the traffic lights are only ever green or amber,
and the big orange moon rises on cue,
haunt of astronauts. Think about it:
a voyage that takes you to yourself;
a movie that reminds you of its own locale

Todays IPOD Choice
Miles Davis - The major musical force of the second half of the 20th century. Period. Bigger than rock, bop, pop, hip-hop or any genre label stuck on for Miles to sneer at. Miles Davis - The Prince of Darkness - brooding and reclusive on stage, addicted at various times to heroin and cocaine. Miles Davis - The Chameleon of Modern Music - restless, always moving ahead - despite what his audience, critics or sidemen would prefer - even when they knew better.
After all, the MUSIC that this man created is what is important. Yeah, Miles the man was a pretty interesting guy. You can pick up any of several biographies on Miles - or surf the web (I've listed some of the more interesting books and web site below), but here you'll find discussion of the music. The music of Miles Davis demands respect that transcends the man - just as the man transcended the music. It worked that way for Miles.
The major recordings of Miles Davis will be examined here - in an order and selection that will work for some - and not for others. If you haven't heard the music of Miles Davis, maybe I can steer you in a direction that will work for you - but maybe not, 'cause this music goes its own way - just like Miles did.
Welcome to The Official Miles Davis Web Site
Its cold again. Florida and cold weather, yuck. I was thining about my brithday. Anotehr year older and another year wiser so they say.
